Agriculture

The purpose of this course is to acquaint students with their career opportunities, job requirements, and tasks performed, to assist them in making informed decisions regarding their future academic and occupational goals. The content includes, but is not limited to, agriscience and technology careers, various related occupations, carrer paths, financial rewards, educational requirements, equipment and terminology, the free enterprise system, and consumer, and economic education. Reinforcement of academic skills occurs through the classroom instruction and applied laboratory procedures.
